YOUTH ACTION FORUM
PLEASE NOTE: We have not been able to hold an in-person Youth Action Forum Event since the beginning of COVID19. Current plans are being made to hold this event in the Fall of 2022. Please stay tuned for further details.
The Youth Action Forum is about building relationships, raising awareness and
developing leadership skills with our County youth.
Student Leaders Initiating Change!!
The 2017 Youth Action Forum was held on November 20, 2017 at the Bath-Haverling High School. The Key Note Speakers was Judith Rowe of Judith A. Rowe Consulting, LLC. Judy is the principal of Judith A. Rowe Consulting, LLC, a firm providing training, facilitation and coaching on a variety of topics, including leadership development. During her 27-year tenure with Corning Incorporated she held leadership roles as Product Engineer, Sales Engineer, Customer Service Team Leader, Supervisory Effectiveness Instructor, Human Resources (HR) Manager, as well as Performance Excellence Roles in HR, Quality and Security. Judy believes that the foundation of great leadership is to know and le3verage the strengths we all have to benefit customers, organizations and personal growth.
Additional speakers included Mike Sweet of the Chamber of Commerce, Cari Scott who is in charge of the Bath Rotary Interact Group and Mark Recktenwald who is a member of the Coalition and a Guidance Counselor at Bath-Haverling High School.

Welcome to the 2016 Youth Action Forum
Purpose: EMPOWER young people to BE THE CHANGE. Give students a VOICE to be heard among peers and within the community. Develop skills necessary to nurture abilities in themselves and others in order to make an impact at school or in the larger community. Networking with other students and leaders to identify available resources and practices that would aid in bringing about change.
Use of Skills: Students can engage in discussions within their individual schools and identify the CRITICAL ISSUES impacting their school climate, their peers, and their community. Solutions can be developed and actions plans put into place to best impact the student body.
